013/365

My favorite sleeper of his. I'll be devastated when he doesn't fit into it anymore.

Stupid cat broke my blackberry. I'm totally heartbroken. But there is hope - Charlene's is also broken and told me where I can get the screen fixed for sixty bucks. Yay!

012/365

Our 2nd together shot. "Bring It On" was ending on my tv [when they sing "Hey Mickey!"] and the line "You take me by the heart when you take me by the hand" totally sticks out in my mind when I see this picture. Cheesy, but true.

Haha, I love this shot. Because he's looking around like "Uhh, Mom? Aren't you forgetting to do something?" He was getting ready to have a bath and I wasn't much help, laughing my head off.

Ooh, we're into double digits now. Sweeeet. This is one of the few shots of Caden while he's actually awake.. but I'm trying to get better at remembering to grab Mom's camera before those beautiful blue & grey eyes close!
And me, I'm starting to really get back into hats. I figure they'll be a great thing to start selling - sure, winter is [hopefully!] almost over, but hats can also be made for the spring and summer by using a different, lighter yarn. I plan to have 10 hats up for sale by the end of next week!

009/365

There's my boy. Looking sleepy, happy, and freshly bathed. =] It's amazing, watching him [who is completely like me] get bigger with every passing day. My little guy is growing.. Argh, how depressing.

Here's a picture of Emma and I. Her eyes aren't closed because of the flash.. she's actually sleeping on my pillow and I snuck behind her to get the shot. She doesn't always get to sleep in my room, since she's noisy [and nosy] and I don't want her waking up Caden because she wanted to chew on plastic.

008/365

My baby's "going out" outfit. He was posing crazy but looking adorable. We went with Charlene to a few places before joining Mom for lunch in Summerlin at a Greek restaurant.

And that's me, showing off my music tattoo. I sometimes forget that I have it, since it's on my neck. But it's probably my favorite [for now, heh]. I'm also wearing regular earrings [also for now]. You can't see them, but the one in that ear is a treble clef and its mate is a 16th note. =]

007/365

Yes, he's sleeping.. again. But this picture has good reason! He hasn't slept all day, which is unusual for him, so I was hanging out with him.. and because he had my full attention, I forgot to take a picture of him while he was awake. My bad. But he's lying in his boppy pillow on my bed, doing his flinching thing every time there's a loud sound coming from the tv ["The Other Boleyn Girl" is louder than I thought]. His face is starting to really clear up. The red spots only look really bad when he wakes up or has been crying. I've put lotion on his face about four times today and it clears it right up. Hopefully it'll go away permanently.

And what I got to do today while Caden decided to sit quietly was work on a hat. I had started it last night [I had a venti Starbucks around 9pm last night.. so I was able to stay awake until about 2:30am]. But I just frogged it because I don't have the double pointed needles to finish it yet and I'd hate to leave such a beautiful hat unfinished. Gahh.. Oh well, it's just a sign that I should be concentrating on getting things knitted for my online shop and Valentine's Day rather than for myself. Btw if you look, you can see that the hat isn't finished because there's a needle sticking straight out of it, haha. [The yarn is 100% pure merino wool. Black, grey, and blue. It's GORGEOUS to work with.. and the bamboo cable needles I've got are going to convince me to never buy aluminum needles again]
